How is Artist Relations different than Public Relations?
Great question! Artist Relations is a unique role that I've found (mainly) in the music industry. While traditional PR does exist, AR is, as you can probably guess, more artist-centric. It's a very rewarding role that I've worked at a small growth startup and my own startup. One of the perks is that I did get to meet many of my childhood heroes and provide them with tools for creative self-expression. Talk about fulfilling!
